Behavior Consultation & Modification:
Behavior modification focuses on changing an animal's emotional and behavioral reaction to the world around him in order to help him feel more at ease and less frightened. It teaches the fearful or aggressive dog new and better ways of coping and responding to the things and situations that arouse and frighten him.
Canine Connection offers behavior modification which employs force-free best practices and standard protocols recommended by board-certified veterinary behaviorists and other experts in animal behavior.
Clients who are considering hiring a trainer to help them with behavior modification of their dog are advised to view the following video in which Dr. Gary Lansberg discusses training controversies. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and the European College of Behavioral Medicine, which means that he is board-certified in veterinary behavior medicine.
